「 Coconuts are the best! 」
A coast of the country with some happy tourists.
Coconut Islands, officially the Republic of the Coconut Islands, is an beautiful island country in Southern Sea.
This country's territory comprises 3 main island, 63 satellite islands and islets. The Coconut Islands is bordered with no country because the country's territory is completely surrounded by ocean. It is across the sea from Wensid, Nothingness and Donmyn, and it has established diplomatic relations with many countries.
History
Because of its isolation, the Coconut Islands were initially uninhabited by any inhabitants, and no inhabitants of the main continent knew of its existence. This situation ended in 150s. In October, 153, a famous voyager, Coconut Colombus expedition to the territory in a storm accident and they discover the islands. Colombus reported the discovery to the public and then declared his power to these isles later in the spring of 154. With his wealth, he founded the Fort Berry. It was the first stable settlement on these isles.
However, during this period, Coconut is not a country. In fact, the sovereignty of these isles is still highly controversial, because Coconut Colombus has never submitted the rights to these isles to his motherland, so in theory it should be its private territory. He kept ruling here in dictator ways until he died in January, 201. The island prospered under his stewardship and became an important trading post between Nothingness and the southern regions. Because the sea around the islands is relatively calm, navigators and merchants can pass here to avoid the large storms that have long plagued the old routes, and obtain supplies and engage in trade from Fort Coconut. They also found that the isles are some of the rare islands that can plant coconuts. Since that time, people started to call these isles "Coconut Islands".
After Colombus's death, Coconut's sovereignty had been given to his son, Salvatti Colombus. However, this son was mild and lazy. He was not interested in politics and administration but preferred art and music, so he allowed the people to create an autonomic council. Most of the people were traders and fishers, and they wanted more autonomous management rights for better development, so they created the council quickly and worked well. Salvatti had no children, so he planned to give the people complete autonomy in his will and declared that he would allow the island to become independent after his death, which event will happen in 231.
On 3rd, February, 231, Salvatti was dead in his home because of the disease. On the next day, the autonomic council declared the independence of the isles. After two weeks of discussion, compilement, and argument, people decided to establish their republic. The presidential election happened on the 28th of February, and a popular politician called Jenny Carlson won. On 1st, March, 231, the celebration of the founding ceremony happened. The Autonomic Council changed their name into "Coconut Congress" and then started their democracy.
In the next 200 years, the Coconut Islands improved well and keep thriving. Schools, hospitals, water facilities, and other buildings have gradually been established under the wealth brought by maritime trade and commerce. Coconut Island's island company is also operating in other countries and has earned a significant amount of wealth by selling relatively rare coconuts to other regions. Many tourists also come here for their interesting local customs, beautiful beaches, and comfortable sunbathing. It was a peace and lively paradise until nowadays.
Geography

Location
The Coconut Islands is across the sea from Wensid, Nothingness and Donmyn. Its total territory is approximately 179,000 square kilometers.
Climate
The Coconut Islands has a tropical monsoon climate and tropical rainforest climate with no distinctive seasons, uniform temperature and pressure, high humidity, and abundant rainfall. Temperatures usually range from 18 to 35 °C. The average annual precipitation is about 847.1 millimeters, with no significant regional differences. While temperature does not vary greatly throughout the year, there is a wetter monsoon season from November to March.
Terrain
The terrain of the Coconut Islands mainly consists of plains and hills. The terrain of most of the islands is quite flat, but generally it is high in the middle and low on the four sides. Large swaths of golden sandy beaches are located at the junction of the island's land and sea, but some areas also have natural bays with deeper water levels.
Resources
Try some delicious coconuts!
The Coconut Islands has no big rivers, but it has considerable underground fresh water, small rivers/waterfalls and precipitation. The main waters within the country's territory are standard territorial waters claimed by its government. Residents don't have to worry about thirst here. They have easy access to clean drinking water.
The Coconut Islands has a lot of animal and plant resources. Most of the country's islands are dotted with large and small natural rainforests. Most areas of the country are covered in naturally growing lawns and vegetation. Due in part to the impact of urbanization and rainforest deforestation, the country's regional greening rate has declined slightly in recent years and is now close to 70%.
Some islands within the Coconut Islands are classified as nature reserves. The forests in the nature reserve still maintain their original appearance many years ago, but the forests in other areas have been more or less damaged by human activities. Various tropical plants and animals live in large numbers in these completely clean forest areas, showing a diverse biological chain.
The country's oceans are home to a large number of tropical fish, marine mammals and many tropical seabirds. Large amounts of coral and other rare creatures can also be found offshore on some islands.
The country's tropical fruits, especially coconuts, are very popular. According to some tourists, local bananas, pineapples, sugar cane and coconuts are sweeter and more delicious than those from other regions.
Politics
The Coconut Islands is a unitary merchant republic with a parliamentary system.
Highest authority
The highest authority in the country is known as the "Coconut Congress". It operates in accordance with the country's constitution and has only one Senate. The Senate has a term of five years and a total of 100 members. The institution has general powers such as amending, establishing, and abolishing laws in accordance with the law, and is responsible for making final decisions on major national affairs.
The Coconut Congress implements nationwide universal suffrage. Citizens with voting rights can vote in favor of any eligible political party in the senate, and then allocate seats to each party in the senate based on a proportional representation system.
When voting on official candidates, legislative requests, or business decisions, their approval criteria are an absolute majority, which means that the number of affirmative votes exceeds half of the number of attendees.
Overall, the Coconut Senate seems to have been trying to maintain a financial oligarchy at the party level. There is ample evidence that nearly every party in the country directly represents the interests of a major local company, although these big companies basically come from different industries. Senate won't allow any new parties to join it, except these parties are very strong.

The highest judicial power in the country is exercised jointly by the Supreme Court and the Supreme Prosecutor's Office. They operate in accordance with the guidance of the Constitution and independently exercise important powers such as final adjudication, protest rights and the highest arrest power. Their responsibilities and powers are not much different from similar agencies in other countries governed by the rule of law. In addition, the Supreme Court is also responsible for reviewing the constitutionality of the legislative process made by the Coconut Congress.
Leaders

The head of state of the Coconut Islands is the president of the country. The President has the power to sign/announce decrees, nominate administrative officials to the Coconut Congress, and represent the country at diplomatic occasions.
At the time of the general election, the presidential candidate is the leader of all political parties that are eligible to participate in politics. After that, all citizens with voting rights across the country can participate in the popular presidential election under the ranked-choice system, and ultimately decide a president democratically.
The current president of Coconut Islands is a young lady - Ms. Ellov Coconut. She is very lively and enthusiastic, and possesses very strong work ability and iron-fisted diplomatic ways.
Local Politics
The administrative areas of Coconut Islands are divided into three levels: district, region, and province, with corresponding levels of parliament, courts, and procuratorates established in each region. The state organs of the higher-level administrative region may change the resolutions of similar organs of the lower level administrative region.
The above-mentioned local institutions operate in accordance with democratic principles under constitutional management and have certain autonomy rights.
Human Rights
Citizens of Coconut Islands enjoy basically broad and complete freedom of movement, speech, belief and thought. However, they are not allowed to go on strike. Marches, demonstrations, assembly and association rights and the activities of socialist groups are strictly restricted. It is also difficult for newly formed political parties by citizens to obtain qualifications to participate in politics.
The censorship of news and newspapers by censorship authorities is relatively low, but this has also led to the emergence of private media distorting facts and reporting indiscriminately in order to gain attention.

The economy of Coconut Islands is mainly driven by tourism, plantation, fishing and cross-border trade, with private ownership economies being more common. There are many wealthy shipping companies and trading businesses such as The Good Coconut Oil Company™ and The Coconut Shipping Company™ both run by wealthy businessmen in the Coconut Islands.
The local area is popular with international tourists due to its beautiful natural scenery and relatively pleasant climate.
The country’s legal tender is coconut coins (equivalent to 1.2EP).
The country's fiscal department advocates liberal capitalist economic policies. The state rarely exercises control over the economy—perhaps because the balanced plutocracy of the Senate makes it difficult for the state to make major adjustments in economic policy.
Private companies in the Coconut Islands have become extremely wealthy by relaying trade, selling coconuts and welcoming large numbers of foreign tourists. However, the gap between rich and poor remains a considerable problem. While a large number of businessmen and entrepreneurs live their lives, Coconut Islands still has a considerable number of low-income people living in poverty - although the government and non-governmental organizations are trying to improve their situation.
It is possible that the maritime traders of the Coconut Islands knew the secret way to the mainland of the Western Hemisphere. Their ships often left port at night without a trace, returning from the East weeks later in the morning laden with a dazzling array of merchandise. Many precious medicines, spices, perfumes, dyes, textiles and luxury goods can only be obtained from the sea traders of the Coconut Islands, such as a rare gem called "tears of the whale". Although fleets from many other countries tried to follow the maritime traders of the Coconut Islands to reach another continent, they never succeeded due to various weather disturbances.
